Need inspiration or advice? We enjoy a lot of recipes we find on American Lamb's website. With a wide variety of ethnic flavors represented, we almost always find something to fit our menu or spark a new one. To get you started...

Ground lamb makes the best burgers! Put a special sauce (tomato jam! tzatziki! caramelized onion and blue cheese!) or cheese on it and serve on a brioche bun and you will be a happy bunch. Or meatloaf (make enough for sandwiches). We like blending ground lamb with roasted eggplant for patties and meatballs too, especially for Mediterranean-inspired recipes. For an easy pressure pot, slow cooker or smoker meal, try fork-tender lamb shoulder roast with bbq sauce. Shanks are essentially a single serving leg of lamb and they are perfect braised with some wine, tomatoes and herbs. Neck slices might be new to you but let me reassure you that these are easily prepared small steaks or you can braise them similar to a shank, put them right in a stew or add to curry. The liver is a freebie in this box that we LOVE made into a patê for pulling a small jar out of the freezer at lunch or for charcuterie (or homemade braunschweiger when ambitious). If your interest isn't piqued, please share with a 2 or 4-legged friend that will enjoy this cut for its mild flavor and nutrient density.
Please ask any questions whether it's preparation or how we farm. We love to talk about this stuff!
Thanks for supporting our little farm and family with your food dollars. We appreciate you.
